Free Culture is Our Real Culture from the Great Leap Forward (~70.000kya), Leonardo, Shakespeare, Bach, Mozart etc. to Nine Inch Nails which is not under restricitve, monopolistic copyright but free licenced, permits derivatives, Share-Alike, permits distribution. For example all contents on the Wikimedia projects are free, not copyrighted or copyrighted and freely licenced e.g. by Creative Commons - Attribution - ShareAlike aka. CC-BY-SA licence, which garantees the evolution of Culture: it grants all rights to You to distribution of original and derivative works, but You MUST refer to the original author and MUST grant on exactly same rights. For example You can find new text and multimedia contents on Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons websites.
